WLZM members will be staying at Shearei Yerushalayim Hotel (due to economical considerations) 25-29/6/2000 Board of Governors and JAFI General Assembly 23-26/10/2000 Board of Governors 14-19/11/2000 General Assembly of North American Jewish Communities, Chicago For your attention: it is warmly recommended to register in advance to the Ideological Seminar of June 2000, in order to secure your participation. Ground cost for the seminar: $100 Youth (up to 35); $200 Adult; Benefactor $300. Proposals for the World Executive Bureau should be submitted no later than 45 days before its convening. On the agenda: discussion over, and approval of, the movement's constitution submitted to the Ministry of Interior in Israel, as well as other constitutional issues. Any other ideas or matters of principle for debate at the Lishka would be welcome, as the agenda is still being formulated. Subject: Registration to International Seminar and World
Executive Bureau In the course of November 1999, I have
sent to you the WLZM Agenda of Activities for the year
2000. I hope you have received it and that you could plan
your agenda for this year. Members and Delegates to the
World Executive Bureau (Lishka) are invited to
participate in both the International Seminar and the
Lishka. The events will take place at Ramat Efal Seminar
(near Tel-Aviv). Participation fees will total $15 per
night (B&B). Booking for a single room will be
conditional upon payment of an additional $40 per night.
Following are the dates of the various events and their
cost: 15-19/6/2000 International Ideological Seminar,
Ramat Efal Costs: Youth (up to 35) - $100; Adult - $200;
Benefactor - $300 19-20/6/2000 World Executive Bureau (Lishka),
Ramat Efal Costs: Youth (up to 35) - $10; Adult: $25 The
fees are intended to assist covering the costs of our
faction for the Delegates and to assist the younger
participants of the seminar to remain with us for the
Lishka as observers. In the case they wish to remain for
the other events, they would have to pay the full
participation cost and will be given the status of
observers. Further details regarding the seminar are
available at our Jerusalem office. You are invited to
register to the seminar other activists that are not
official members of the Lishka. The program of the
seminar is based of the program of the June 1999 seminar,
which was a great success (see attached program). The
program of the Lishka will be formulated during the
coming months. You are invited to submit suggestions to
be included to the agenda. In order to avoid problems in
the bookings of the hotel accommodation, we expect to
receive registrations no later than April 30, 2000,
including payment of the relevant amounts (according to
the events), by check or bank transfer. Members that are
unable to participate to the Lishka are kindly requested
to inform us through mail, so that we may replace them
with Alternates |
